Work Packet

The Omni Helpdesk tracks work by using the Omni Workflow engine. The Omni Workflow engine provides a rich environment for developing advanced, graphical workflows.

Below is the main work packet screen. From here, notes can be added to work packets. the work can be re-routed (or sent to) another user or group, the history can be viewed, documents can be attached, the archive searched and more.

The omni helpdesk manages multi-user access to work packets by using locking. Only one user may lock a peice of work at a time, thus preventing multiple user from trying to do the same thing at the same time.
